My Thoughts on Ron Paul- Think Ahead!

Paul doesn't fit. He would have us bury our heads in the sand and let everyone chop at our necks. We need someone who is firm on the Constitution, but without the short-sighted craziness. He looks great for short term planning, but if you look a few more years down the road there's still chaos. Perhaps no Hitlery nanny state, but we would still face global problems. Terrorists don't go away by themselves.

Tancredo is firm on more than one issue- go to his issues page, and you'll see. Same with Hunter. I can't say which would be better, but I think they are great men who would do wonderful things for this country, perhaps together, if given the chance.

Other people have great logical reasons for not supporting Paul- but the only reasons I hear against Tancredo and Hunter are "they don't have a chance" and that's just stupid. If they don't win it was because the people were once again duped and mislead into playing the media popularity contest and voting not for the right person, but the person they were told had the best chance of winning. Stand your moral ground! Take the time to consider the real long term possibilities of each candidate. This is not American Idol. Sound Bites do not save the world. This is more like chess and you have to think ahead!

Good take on Ron Paul. He is too shrill, and he's like a combo of a Democrat and Pat Buchanan on foreign policy. Unfortunately, I think Rudy may be the only one who can beat the PIAPS.

absurd thought -
God of the Universe says
wait to be invaded

What is this mass shift to Rudy Giuliani? He's almost indistinguishable from a moral liberal. If you lose your moral center you're going to lose everything, America! Yes Tancredo could win if only the whole of the Republican movement would get behind him. I fear for America.

That's the best description I've heard of RP yet!

And I tend to begrudgingly agree with you on Rudy!

I am truely confused. I don't agree with Rudy on moral issues but he seems to understand foreign policy.
RP seems like an idiot who is obsessed with 'why do they hate us?'. They hate us because their faith commands them to hate us.

It's because the leftist media controlls who the front-runner candidates are. No matter who we get as a "republican" leading candidate, it won't be the conservative we wanted- they have rigged the game to lead us down a path of destruction (and given us only different choices of speed ranging from steady to ludicrous), meaning anybody capable of getting elected shouldn't be given the job.

You and I may disagree on a couple of things, but we can still be friends at the end of the day. There is no doing that with the leftists who manipulate and plot to make our wildest conspiracy theory nightmares come true...

This is why I'm constantly trying to get people to back Tancredo and/or Hunter. They have a solid track record, and the media purposefully ignores them whenever they say something!

It's going to be interesting on who makes it. I hope that Rudy doesn't as I don't agree with his views at all.
My choices would be in this order:
Duncan Hunter
Tom Trancredo
Fred Thompson

Ya'll have a good day,

The cowardly crowd says that the people who are the best have no chance. This quickly becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, and our minor prophets then get to stroll about flagellating themselves because a poor candidate won and moan about the state of the nation.
In short, the gutless act as though the primaries had already occurred! Remember Schwarzenegger! He was seen as inevitable and now California primary textbooks have been expunged of the terms "mom" and "dad" to please the homosexual lobby! JUST SAY NO TO INEVITABLE CANDIDATES!
