Tancredo for president- why or why not???

Here are the issues:
http://www.teamtancredo.com/tancredo_issues_index.asp

Tancredo seems the most willing to stand fast on the majority of important issues that will determine the very future existence of our nation.

Other front running conservatives seem to have sold out, or have had hidden agendas. Tancredo clearly and boldly states where he stands on issues that will, as I and countless others have stated, determine the future of our nation. The next president, more than any other, will have the power to make or break us. We need a president who will stand firm against illegals, against terrorists, and beef up homeland security and protect the Constitution while doing so.

We need to mobilize for the very future of our country and ensure the right person gets the job. That means coming together like we have done to make our voice be heard to Congress. We need to come together and vote to make our voice be heard that we will not tolerate a socialist president or a sell-out who will not fight for our future and our freedoms!

What is your take on Tom Tancredo? Do you think he would be the best for the job? Why or why not? If not him, then who, and why?

Shep, I do think that Tancredo is a statesman and he needs to develop and communicate on many issues. He has a rep, deserved or not, as a one-issue candidate. He and Duncan Hunter are the only two I would consider at this time. Let's hope that more people will come to them, but they are going to have to do something in order to communicate to the people in an effective way. You have a good site and I'll be back to visit. I'm linking you by the way as a Friend.

Thanks for the link!

Ever since it came to light that Fred was on the manipulative and secretive Council on Foreign Relations, he's been on my no list. Sorry, but I don't want to take a chance with someone who will help his NAU pushing friends out.

Shep, I think Tancredo will do a better job at where he is at now. He is only a one issue person. I like Fred Thompsom alot and don't get your panties all in a bunch about the NAU. IT is a conspiracy theory made up by someone. The CFR has been around for a long time and has never been secretive. My mom has known about it since the 50's. The CFR has always been about how top make trade freer between countries, nothing else.
The NAU thingy is all about how to make trade freer between the US, Mexica and Canada. Not ot make it all one country like Michael Savage says. I like Savage on a lot of things, but on this subject he is out there.

Oh I think an "actual" NAU is out of the question, at least for now. The danger lies in further selling off America and outsourcing until it might as well be an NAU in name. At some point we will cross a threshold and not be able to say that America is America anymore.

My biggest gripe is the proposed superhighway that would allow Mexican truckers unlimited access across the border. Imagine all the drugs, contraband, WMDs, and illegals they could/would smuggle in!

Yes, we need Tom! Tom Tancredo truly understands the Islamic threat and he's the best on immigration. He is the candidate most ready to stop all Muslim immigration as well as reducing legal immigration, besides of course ending illegal immigration. To my knowledge, no other candidate has stepped up and demanded that we stop importing the Jihad into America.

I agree with the comments about Fred, too. Absolutely unacceptable!
