Germany Giving Jail Time for Use of Free Speech!

WorldNetDaily reports that "a 55-year-old Lutheran pastor will spend a year in jail for comparing Germany's abortion rate of 150,000 annually to the murder of Jews in Auschwitz during the Holocaust, according to Salem Voice Ministries. "

Another gem from the article is the following unbelievable quote:
"Creationism, born of the denial of the evolution of species through natural selection, was for a long time an almost exclusively American phenomenon," the report says. "Today creationist theories are tending to find their way into Europe … [T]his is liable to encourage the development of all manner of fundamentalism and extremism, synonymous with attacks of utmost virulence on human rights."

This is just unreal! I remember learning that it was a German who started printing the first Bibles on the first printing press... must have been us Americans! Gutenberg sounds American, right? As far as it being the source of extremism, that is wrong too. Creationism synonymous with attacks on human rights? Like them taking away free speech? Sounds like what Germany is doing. The Bible teaches that as much as possible we are to live at peace with all men!

Romans 12:18 "Ist es möglich, soviel an euch ist, so habt mit allen Menschen Frieden."
(from www.biblegateway.com)

Can they be so steeped in denial that they turn to the same methods of oppression as the Nazis? Have they learned nothing? If you say anything out of line they throw you in jail and accuse YOU of violating rights! Next, speaking out of turn or praying will be grounds for an automatic death sentence! Unbelievable, right? Regardless of your beliefs on the matter, who would have thought merely saying chopping up a baby and sucking it out of the womb was bad was grounds for a year in prison?

For facts on abortion, please go to http://www.abort73.com/ Maybe someone could translate and send to Germany since they obviously never even bothered to research WHY a pastor would say such a thing to risk landing in jail. Their court system is even more of a joke than ours!
