A Call To Remember History

I've been off here over 3 years as I've re-started my life after returning from 16 months in Iraq.  I returned to a country in turmoil, a move and other personal challenges and victories (and another move coming!), but over the last few years I've seen the nation grow worse, losing hope, losing courage, losing even the ability to see through obvious lies, as the left takes us into darker and darker places with each unconstitutional mandate.  Another 9-11 comes and goes with more terror in the world, and I felt compelled to dust off the old blog and let loose a rant as the media ignores the fundamental causes of the violence against us.

The video exposes the lies of the school system and media. Dr. Warner illustrates 1400 years of islamic expansionism and 548 battles on maps, showing dots that rapidly grow and spread over a short time, expanding the Islamic empire, and he goes over the numbers killed, and the brutality... The crusades were a reaction to it all.  It's 45 minutes, but every minute is eye-opening (there is no "Golden Age" of islam where everyone lived in peace) and I cannot encourage you enough to watch it and be educated about the facts (and not just swallow the lies the media and schools push).  Watch it now.  Come back to this later.

How much more pathetic can our leaders be?  The last night of the DNC, as a tribute to the troops, they displayed Russian ships on the big screen. The pattern of subtle and not-so-subtle anti-American behavior by the left stretches back a long time, undermining our freedoms, making us weak and divided.  This emasculation of America must not be allowed to continue unabated lest all remaining greatness we have be lost to the ages, to be buried in a re-written history, chipping away our freedoms and stripping our achievements of their honor and glory.  It can all be replaced with mindless obsequious obedience to the elites of the left (as has been done in other leftist countries) inside of a generation or two through manipulation of the education system if nothing is done soon to stop it.  Let us not just remember the attacks on 11 September of 2001, but let us remember 11 September of 1683 and use it to find courage: http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/2006/09/other-september-11th.html

He was speaking to his disciples about those who would persecute them, but the same applies today to us facing the leftists and the followers of the “prophet” who preached hate, rape, murder, assassination, plunder, lying, breaking treaties, etc. As much as we are able, we are to live at peace with others- but are we able to live at peace with unchecked evil as it rapes, murders, and destroys freedom?  By allowing the evil to continue unopposed, we are tolerating it, and encouraging it.  We must make a stand somewhere.

I'm so glad a public figure like Mr. Norris is getting out there with the facts. I hope he manages to reach a wide audience... but unfortunately you don't see his words covered by mainstream media as you do the countless leftist celebrities (I wonder why that is!).

Revealing Riots Over Cartoons, 9-11 anniversary

I was going down my blogroll and ran across this at Hard to Swallow

The formatting can be hard to swallow, but the points really hit home.

It must be true that their "religion" and faith really is so weak if they need to constantly riot and attempt to crush others in a vain attempt to validate it and their disgusting behavior, and bolster themselves. That's a textbook psychological problem. The truths are self-evident; their religion of peace isn't.

We few (the majority actually) know this deep down and all facts shout this truth, yet our press serves them time and again by spreading sugar-coated lies and misdirecting the people of our nation. This will continue until either there is a revolt against the status quo, or the loud minority of bleating sheep continues to steer this country to its destruction and we reach the sad destination of tyranny and oppression that the followers of islam long for.

Their belief system that espouses hate, lies, torture, and is totally at odds with the golden rule can never be validated no matter how many are murdered in its name. No loving God would ever decree such filth. The koran is blasphemous for daring to proclaim hate in the name of the God of the Universe, who is really a God of Love and wants us to love him AND our neighbor.

He tells us to live at peace as much as we are able. Unfortunately, we are not able, and can never be able, to live at peace with people bent on our destruction.

Certainly, if we are so bad, where are OUR riots? Are the majority of Christians calling for oppression and hate? Do we congregate waving banners calling for the death of an "artist?" No, we want peace, are sane enough not to be rioting and calling for blood over some sketches... We are civilized, but we understand that peace and freedom from the violence of islam and tyranny comes with a price, and know that price must be paid, and there will be bloodshed as the islamic tyrants won't stop without it, but we do not revel in the cooking or beheading of children.

Whenever there are civilian casualties inflicted on the population of an enemy state, there is sadness. However, we know that we are still fighting for an eventual peace that will save more lives in the long run, so we must not stop... The enemy on the other hand actively enjoys, celebrates, and dances in the streets when our non-combatants are killed. In fact, non-combatants remain the primary target of the enemy. That was their first target nearly 6 years ago on 9-11. Civilians have ALWAYS been their main target because they are the easier prey.

They are cowards for rioting over cartoons, they are cowards for delighting in the slaughter of innocents, and we must not forget- no matter how much time passes.
