How dare he disgrace the sacrifice of the men and women of our armed forces! That he wants to meet with terrorists, but can not find the time to hear the truth from our lips-that we ARE winning despite the roadblocks he and his ilk in that lofty body of Congress have set in our path- is repulsive to me, and I pray just as repulsive to my fellow Americans when it comes time for them to cast their votes.
Mere days ago, a brave man was awarded our nation's highest honor for sacrificing his life, that others might carry on the fight. That he would do that, and that it would be recognized shows that there is still hope for America- and I can but only hope the people of our great nation see through the lies and deception in the media- see through his lies and faithlessness to the principals which make our country great- so that our nation will not continue to fall under his spell as the media has portrayed it thus far.
That he would belong to a church for 20 years, to claim the pastors as his close advisers, yet to also claim to be unaware of the vile hatred that spewed forth from their lips, profaning a house of God, means he is either an evil liar and unfit to be our president, or that he is incredibly lost and ignorant, and unfit to be our president.
The terrorists have plainly stated their goals, and any negotiations with them can not be trusted- as it is their belief that breaking treaties with non-muslims is perfectly acceptable behavior. He says our sacrifices are pointless when we bring light to the darkness and end generations of brainwashing- if anything is pointless, it is his proposed negotiations.
When America was young, we paid tribute to Islamic terrorists- our early leaders said enough was enough and created the US Navy to do battle against them. "Millions for defense, not one cent for tribute!" Such is the resolve of the American spirit when it knows what it is up against. We are involved in a war that stretches back to the birth of our nation. It has been lost to our memories as we have fought other wars along the way in the name of freedom, but it has never been far from the minds of our enemies who think in longer terms than we are used to- whose goal is oppression.
Shortly prior to then we fought for our freedom at the birth of our nation, now we fight for our freedom again, not against an abusive crown, but against an even more foul and oppressive sort of would-be-master.

Most of us here know what we are up against- an enemy determined to destroy our nation- even should it cost them their very lives. The only thing that will bring us triumph and lasting freedom is the determination to win and not falter, though it may cost us our very lives. Do not think to cheapen the sacrifices we make by traitorously negotiating away all we have worked for. It failed then, and it would just as surely fail now with eve more lives forfeit to the folly.
America, should you wish to remain free, do not cast your vote for this silver-tongued man. His hypnotic message of change would mislead you down a path of destruction through the surrender of your freedoms in the guise of political correctness, or "fairness" and "hope" or some other term used to make you feel good on the path to national death! Do not let our nation as we know it sputter and die while we fight for its future on foreign soil. Improvements can be made without retreat. Changes can be made that do not require an increase in government controls and abuses. We are abroad fighting against the very sort of absolutist control that the extremist left Obama represents would surrender us to in the long run.
The Tree of Liberty is being watered with the blood of patriots and tyrants- do not uproot it as it grows (just as neighborhoods and markets here reopen)! Do not kill it at home either, for the price of our freedom has been paid by our ancestors, and is being paid here, right now as we face barrage after barrage without falter- for make no mistake, if our troops were not defeating terrorists here in Iraq, you would be fighting them in your streets at home! That time may yet come should we be forced to withdraw without crushing the enemy, as it has elsewhere in the world where radical islam was allowed to flourish, so remain vigilant!

After 9/11 I never thought...
I never thought...
The people of Germany would forget and cave to another threat like Nazism.
I never thought...
Terrorists and traitors would hold a victory parade around ground zero celebrating the death of innocents.
I never thought
That on a September 11th of all days, a mere 6 years later, would peaceful protesters be beaten for protesting terrorist expansion into free countries.
I never thought...
I would see free people and representatives willing to give up in the face of tyranny.
I never thought...
Terrorist camps would be allowed to exist on U.S. soil.
I never thought...
Our borders would be left open for illegals, drug-runners, and terrorists to flood across.
I never thought...
The government would endanger security by encouraging border crossings by unregulated (regulated by Mexico) Mexican trucks carrying who knows what.
They would be allowed to open a school in the very city they attacked... much less tax exempt status and radical schools throughout the country.
I never thought...
The government would fund security for radical mosques.
I never thought...
A U.S. president would stand in a radical mosque (multiple times) not wearing combat boots and shouting for surrender, but wearing socks and spouting platitudes.
I never thought...
We would allow charities to continue to fund terrorists.
I never thought...
We would dishonor those who shed their blood for freedom by not fighting terrorists and defending our home soil from tyrants. These are enemy combatants and invaders in an old ongoing war.

I know Americans are tougher than this! We must not allow the corrupt to run our lives- we must not be sheep! We must be citizens! We must be willing to follow in the footsteps of our ancestors and fight and pay the price of freedom. We must call for the removal of traitors and vote out those who would see us submit to tyrannical oppression.
If a 19 year old French aristocrat can risk everything to fight for America, why can't we stop being sheep?
When did this stop being the same America our ancestors fought for?
Why are we stuck lamenting how nothing has been done by our government while the enemy parades in our streets? People overseas are beaten for demonstrating in the name of freedom on the anniversary of the day WE were attacked and most of us do nothing but cringe in fear of another attack.
Why are we still trying to appease and pay tribute to terrorists? "Shortly after his inauguration, President Jefferson declared America would spend "millions for defense but not one [more] cent for tribute.""
Our founding fathers must be rolling in their graves to see us still living in fear of the same threats they worked to squash so long ago! Appeasement didn't work then, it hasn't worked these past six years, and it will NEVER work! We MUST fight islam to truly have peace in our country. Any peace we enjoy is false, as we have been living under a shadow of tyranny and terror, and will continue to do so until we rid ourselves of the enemy and stop serving them.

Recent "Gut Feelings" and educated guesses
My position as a Sr. International Security Specialist aside, because it does not take a fancy title to see that if they plan 7 to 10 attacks and nearly all of them fail, the odds are they will have at least one successful catastrophic attack. This is nothing new. Frankly, I would be surprised if they only tried one attack.
Look at 9-11. Out of the few simultaneous attacks, only one got stopped- and that because people on site were courageous enough to take action. They know we are better prepared now, so they will probably up the stakes!
No matter how brainwashed and stupid the enemy is, we must not underestimate their ability to plan and coordinate. To illustrate this- any idiot can coordinate meetings. It happens in offices all across the nation every day! Most of these meetings, as you probably know from personal experience, are fruitless- but every now and then someone actually spurs a plan into action. Now, if that illustration helps, imagine a bunch of idiots meeting and plotting to kill as many people as possible. It's a lot easier to plan to kill people, especially if you are planning on and hoping to die in the process, than it is to plan to keep people safe.
So, not only are the terrorists planning these things, they've got the easier job! Lets not make it any easier for them by ignoring the threat!
Not to beat a dead horse, but far too many people seem lulled into complacency and apathy, and expect someone else to do the work to keep them safe! NOBODY can keep you safe but you. Police generally investigate crimes AFTER the fact, and are generally not there to stop crime before it happens. Guess who that leaves looking out for you and your loved ones? Unless you are planning on throwing yourself on the mercy of terrorists, or expect a stranger to save you, you are on your own.
This means being educated AND prepared for anything. Yes, it is burdensome trying to stock-up and prepare for a war, but that is our duty as American citizens. Never forget the generations before us who did that very thing and fought and died for freedom. The threats today are even more severe.
We can not bury our heads in the sand any longer and pretend we are safe. I am not saying live in fear- quite the contrary! Rest assured that by being educated and preparing for a disaster you can be calm in the eye of the storm.
Yes, there are thousands of people world-wide fighting terror and doing their best, but the nature of insurgency is to exploit gaps in security. Believe me, there are FAR too many gaps, but even if there were not, we should still be ever vigilant- as that is the price of freedom.
Budget for and buy emergency supplies, have a plan, and discuss it with your loved ones. Know what to do when disaster strikes and you will be ahead of the game. The recent large-scale natural disasters clearly show that the gov't is not prepared to take care of you. That never has been their job anyway. Now imagine how frantically they would be scrambling in multiple attacks that would make Katrina look like a walk in the park... Chaos will run rampant and help might be weeks away if it can come at all- so plan now!

I am sure that under socialized medicine they will get the finest mental care for their depression before being reinstated to help with the healthcare shortage.
My hope is that maybe some of these losers wake up and realize that the violent cult of radical islam is not cool. It is still hard to believe people like this exist, and in large numbers!
